About this policy
This policy explains what personal data Venturoxx may receive through this website and in the course of professional contact, why it is used, and how it is handled. It is written to be readable rather than exhaustive. If you have any question about it, you can contact Venturoxx using the details in section 15.
Who we are
Venturoxx is responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
- Legal form: sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered in the Netherlands
- Chamber of Commerce (KvK): 42071937
- Location: Ede, The Netherlands
- Website: https://venturoxx.com
- Contact: info@venturoxx.com
Personal data we may receive
Venturoxx receives only what is reasonably necessary to respond to enquiries and to provide advisory services. Depending on how you interact with Venturoxx, this may include:
- your name
- your work email address
- your company
- the information you choose to include in a Contact-form message, including a free-text description of the decision or question you want to discuss
- information you send by direct email
- business contact information that arises during professional interactions
- aggregate website usage information collected through website analytics (see section 5)
You provide this information directly, and doing so is voluntary, although Venturoxx needs your contact details and message to respond to you. Venturoxx does not ask you to provide sensitive or special-category personal data, and you should not include unnecessary sensitive information in free-text fields.
How information is used
Venturoxx uses the information it receives to:
- respond to enquiries and requests
- assess whether Venturoxx is the appropriate intervention for the situation you describe
- arrange and hold conversations
- provide agreed advisory services
- maintain professional and client relationships
- meet reasonable administrative, accounting and legal obligations
- understand, in aggregate, how the website is used
Venturoxx does not use your information for advertising or behavioural profiling, and does not carry out automated decision-making.
Venturoxx relies on the following bases to process personal data: its legitimate interest in responding to people who contact it and in managing professional and client relationships; the performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering into one, where advisory services are agreed; and compliance with legal obligations, such as accounting and tax requirements. Website analytics through Plausible does not use cookies or collect personal data, so it does not rely on consent.
Website analytics (Plausible)
Venturoxx uses Plausible Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how this website is used, for example which pages are visited and general traffic patterns. Plausible is a privacy-focused analytics service. It does not use cookies or store data in your browser, it does not create persistent identifiers, and it does not collect or store personal data or your IP address. It does not track visitors across websites or devices, and the data is not used for advertising or profiling. Plausible processes and stores this analytics data on infrastructure in the European Union.
Contact form (Formspree)
When you use the Contact form on this website, your submission is processed through Formspree, an external form-processing service. The information you submit through the form (your name, work email, company, and the message you write) is sent to Formspree and used to receive and respond to your enquiry. Formspree acts as a service provider for this purpose, and its own terms and privacy information govern how it handles the data it processes. Formspree operates using infrastructure located outside the European Economic Area, so your submission may be processed outside the EEA (see section 10). Venturoxx does not keep these form submissions in a separate system of its own beyond what is needed to respond to you. If you prefer not to use the form, you can contact Venturoxx directly by email at info@venturoxx.com.
Optional scheduling (Calendly)
After making an enquiry, you may choose to schedule a conversation using Calendly, an external scheduling service. This is optional. Calendly is not loaded on the Venturoxx website; if you choose to schedule, you follow a link and then interact with Calendly directly. Any information you provide to Calendly is handled by Calendly under its own terms and privacy information, and may be processed outside the EEA.
External links
This website contains links to external websites, including LinkedIn and Calendly. Venturoxx does not control those websites and is not responsible for their privacy practices. When you follow an external link, the privacy information of that website applies.
Service providers and data sharing
Venturoxx does not sell personal data. Venturoxx uses a small number of external service providers to operate, such as the analytics and form-processing services described in this policy, and shares information with them only to the extent needed for those services to function. Venturoxx may also disclose information where required to meet a legal or regulatory obligation.
International processing
Some of the external service providers used by Venturoxx, including the Contact-form processor, may process information on systems located outside the Netherlands or the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, the information is still handled for the purposes described in this policy and is subject to the service provider's own terms. Venturoxx uses providers that make data-processing terms available for this purpose.
Data retention
Venturoxx keeps personal data no longer than is reasonably necessary. In practice this means that enquiries which do not lead to an engagement are kept for a limited period sufficient to deal with the enquiry and any follow-up, and are then deleted; information relating to a client relationship is kept for the duration of that relationship and a reasonable period afterwards; and accounting and administrative records are kept for the period required by applicable Netherlands law. Analytics data held by Plausible is aggregate and contains no personal data.
Your rights
Depending on applicable data-protection law, you may have the right to ask what personal data Venturoxx holds about you; to have inaccurate data corrected; to have data erased where there is no continuing basis to keep it; to have processing restricted in certain circumstances; to object to certain processing; and, where applicable, to data portability. Where Venturoxx relies on your consent for a specific activity, you may withdraw it. To make a request, contact info@venturoxx.com. Venturoxx will respond in line with applicable law, and some requests may be subject to legal conditions or exceptions. If you believe your data has not been handled properly, you may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
Security
Venturoxx takes reasonable organisational and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information it handles. No website or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to this policy
Venturoxx may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with the date of the most recent update shown at the top of this page, will always be the version published on the website.
